Golden Bay shipbuilding, which was subordinate to Shanghai Zhouji (Group) Co., Ltd. in the early stage, is a large modern shipbuilding enterprise with a total dock capacity of 2.08 million dwt. It is known as the second largest private shipyard in China. Later, it was acquired by HNA and renamed "Jinhai heavy industry". Under the national strategy of "made in China 2025", Jinhai heavy industry was renamed "Jinhai intelligent manufacturing".

The project is located in the west side of xiaochangtu mountain, Daishan County, Penglai Fairy Island, in the middle of Zhoushan Islands, and closely occupies the hub of China's river sea intermodal transport and the "golden waterway" of the Yangtze River.
